The group (which I was invited to be a board member) is a Flickr gorup formally proclaimed last September 14, 2007 (feast of the Exultation of the Cross) It is therefore fitting that the central figure of the group’s emblem is the Most Holy Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our group will mainly discuss how Filipinos devote themselves to the practice of the Church's scriptures and tradition specifically during Holy Week. This group will only discuss Mahal na Araw (Holy Week) topics that are specially relevant to the Filipino culture and for everyones growth.Discussions of Holy Week practices in other countries are also encouraged since it greatly influences our own. Much information can be gleaned from it and can also greatly benefit our own practices.The Group also aims to educate our members about Santeros (artists) who continue to offer their talent, time and services to have this Panata(personal devotion) rich in culture, inspiration and Faith. It is now an exisiting organization promoting traditional and cultural Catholic tradition and customs peculiar to the Philippines through religious art exhibits, processions and church visitations emphasizing on lenten art and customs.
